The award-winning brewers already ad an existing website operating but contacted us to give the website a modern touch and give it more of a structured design with some eye-catching graphics that people remember.

It is mainly used as a tool to inform the visitor of anything new which is happening with the company and range of beers they produce and how/where they can get hold of them. We made sure the owners could easily update the site, where and when appropriate to them. So far they have had a good response to the site and we have gone on since to design a flyer and a magazine advert to promote the company.

Cable Educational Ltd – Publishers

Cable Educational is a publisher based in Hunmanby, near Filey. They produce a range of educational publications at secondary and further education levels for distribution to schools and colleges.

We have worked on a number of projects with them including interactive work booklets and the DVD packaging to go with them for secondary schools. They wanted the designs to appeal to the pupils but also look part of a set. We look forward to working with them again.

Filey Chamber of Trade & Commerce

We were approached to design a new logo for the local chamber of trade and commerce in Filey that was modern with a simple but eye-catching look.

The logo we produced pictured a wave with the typography following it along the bottom. We came up with this to link the fact that it is a coastal area where the business members will be based and that the businesses in the area are getting more and more successful and so they are riding on the crest of a wave.

We have since added the logo to some stationery and we are now working on a website and a leaflet, which will contain a membership form to try and get people to join the group and make it stronger in the community.

Peter Edwards - Artist

We were commissioned by Peter Edwards, a well-known portrait artist in the UK who has produced many paintings of famous people including Sir Bobby Charlton, which are hanging in the National Portrait Gallery in London.

The brief was to create a website to display his work and we decided a Flash based gallery would be the best for this online solution to make it more sophisticated and interesting for the user. We also added a simpler html version of the site so people could view the work successfully even if the had a slow internet connection, along with a guest book so people could share views with the artist himself.

Cred Ltd – Carbon Reduction

We were approached by the Steve Parker to aid him with his idea, which was to start up a Carbon Reduction company to encourage other companies to reduce their level of carbon emissions, therefore helping to protect and combat the problems with the earths atmosphere.

He had a budget to create an online presence for the company as an initial reference point with a view to adding more to it in the future as the project takes off. We created a simple but different design, which we feel gives the company a clear image to suit what he is trying to achieve.

UK Inspection Services Ltd – UK Welding Inspectors

UK Inspection Services wanted to have a website as a point of reference to show the range of services they provide throughout the UK and wanted us to help them out with there idea.

We worked with them a decided a simple and informative Flash based design would work well. To make the site more interesting we added some interesting and creative photography customised to suit each section of the site along with some subtle animation with the menu to enhance the content and make it more appealing to first time visitors, which is important.

Computer Troubleshooters Ltd

Computer Troubleshooters are an internationally recognised franchise dealing in computers and computer maintenance. We were asked by one of the directors in the UK to design a local and national flyer to replace and update the ones they had already.

We did this by creating a modern design, which was clear and incorporated some nice eye-catching photographs to enhance the leaflets as they had a lot of information within them. We also re-designed the existing mail shot flyer to make it more appealing to try and reach more customers throughout the whole of the UK. They also needed to be simple so they could update them and change any information easily at any given time.

Ultimate Soccer School

We were contacted by Alan Price to design a logo for his new soccer school for kids. We decided it would be good to try and have a modern looking badge but at the same time try to keep an aspect of it traditional.

We achieved this by creating a simple shield shape for a traditional feel but had a football with a flame trailing behind it breaking the side of the shield for a modern touch and breaking the tradition. We used bright colours to make it stand out and thought it would be more appealing to the children who took part. We also had to consider the fact that it had to be easily sewn into a badge for the kits and rain coats. We have now integrated into a brochure design with the possibility of a website in the future as it takes off.
